Over the past quarter of a century the Friends of the Mounted Police Heritage Centre have raised and donated in excess of $2,000,000 for operations, artifact procurement, restoration and management, as well as capital to help build the RCMP HERITAGE CENTRE (Centre). That two million dollars, primarily made up of individual donations and membership dues, has gone a long way in leveraging corporate support for major capital projects and general operations for the Centre. The Centre would not exist if it wasn’t for organizations that saw value in helping us reach our goals of first building a Centre at the Home of the RCMP, and to then continue to help us support its operations.
In recognizing that not all corporate donations are able to fit the same mold, we have carefully created a few programs that help meet various corporate needs and investment policies.
All donation options can also be made with a Cheque by downloading this PDF and mailing them both to this address:

Want to do something good and offer your employees and clients some perks while at it? A Corporate Membership might just be for you!
One of our most consistent sources of revenue has been through the sale of memberships. In 2013 we added corporate memberships to our program line-up. A Corporate Membership provides unprecedented access and opportunity to share a legacy experience, unique to Saskatchewan, with your employees, visitors and guests. Home of the Mounted Police since 1882, Regina has functioned as the headquarters for the NWMP, RNWMP and the RCMP. The site now houses the only national training centre for Cadets who graduate to serve communities all across the country. The RCMP Heritage Centre welcomes visitors from around the globe to its superb flagship facility, on the grounds of “Depot” where the Tradition began and continues to live. This is a great Canadian story, help share it, become a corporate member.

The recognition policy above is primarily targeted to a local market. If you don’t have an office in southern Saskatchewan, one of our other corporate programs might be a better fit.

Corporate matching or leveraging is not a new concept, and continues to be an integral part of our fund development plans moving forward. Great things can be accomplished if many organizations pitch in at once.
The Corporate Matching Program was introduced in 2013. Our board put together conservative goals for amounts we thought we’d be able to raise that could be matched by corporate partners on an annual basis. Each year the goal increases. We make projections in 5-year allotments and encourage corporate partners to make multi-year commitments. The more pledges or commitments made, the more drive we have to ensure we reach our goals. We don’t take what we haven’t been able to match.
Luckily this hasn’t been a problem.
Corporate Matching Program Goals
2013/2014 | $25,000 |
2014/2015 | $30,000 |
2015/2016 | $40,000 |
2016/2017 | $55,000 |
2017/2018 | $70,000 |
Our inaugural participant was MOSAIC COMPANY who incorporated matching our entire 5 year goal above into a $1,000,000 dollar donation to the Centre. For their participation they received a spot on the Centre’s permanent granite donor wall in the prestigious Leader’s Circle among many other corporate perks and recognition opportunities from the Friends and the Centre. Please note that it’s not a requirement of this program that pledges match our projections. They can be at the discretion of each participating donor. Pledges can be pre-paid and kept in deferred revenue until goals have been met. We can also invoiced annually with a copy of the Friends latest financials showing amounts raised and contributions made to the Centre. Our corporate MATCHING PROGRAM RECOGNITION POLICY outlines what participants can expect to receive for their respective contributions to this program.
